Purpose and Good Intention
…it is the meaning of Nia in Swahili…the collective purpose of building and developing our community.
Our brand’s logo took inspiration from the ‘Adinkra’ symbol Dwennimmen (meaning “ram’s horns”), representing strength, humility, wisdom, and learning.
This symbolism reflects the spirit of our From Bean to Barista programme and the resilience of the young people we train as they build skills and enter the coffee and hospitality industry.

Your Impact on Social and Economic Sustainability
The From Bean to Barista programme was created as a way to equip young people with practical, industry-relevant skills that open real pathways to employment. Developed in collaboration with carefully selected partners, the initiative focuses on hands-on barista and beverage training, combining technical expertise with workplace readiness. It was born in response to the limited access many young people, particularly from marginalised communities, have to structured vocational training and sustainable career opportunities. By bridging this gap, the programme helps transform potential into capability, enabling participants to enter the job market with confidence and long-term prospects in the coffee and hospitality industry.
